Dutch Nationals Round 1
Hugo van den Berg challenging Jilles Groskamp during ETS Rd3 at MACH Heemstede, Netherlands The first round of the Dutch 1/10th scale EP on road Nationals was run at Baanbrekers, in Rupchen. The season started in a weird way for the Dutch national stock class. The handout Orion Element 19T motors weren't delivered on time, so there was no action in the stock class. The Modified class continued normally with 29 drivers at the start. Hugo van den Berg took the TQ in front of the current Dutch national champion Bart Wubben. Hugo had also won both finals making him the overall winner. Bart made some attemps to take the lead in the first final, as he was set under some preasure in the second final by Tony Vredenberg. Corally driver Luke van Essen took the third overall spot, by finishing third and fourth. Here are the top ten standings of the first Dutch Nationals:
