Hot Bodies Cyclone TC
Hot-Bodies have launched a new updated version of their touring car
called the 'Cyclone TC'. The team has done some mayor research and design
work on their Cyclone platform. The last updated kit was released more
than a year ago just after the win at the IFMAR World Championships in
Italy. Since then the team didn't felt like making an
entire new car, altough there where some rumors of
Atsushi Hara testing a new
car.
The Hot-Bodies Cyclone TC will have a 2.5mm carbon fiber chassis plate with new plastic battery holders. The upperdeck will be similar to the one from the 'carpet conversion kit', but will be just 2mm thick. The rear upper plate is also 2mm thick, but made from FRP material. The car will come with a new ball diff, which the Hot-Bodies drivers were using for a while now. In the front there will be a 'one way/solid front axle multi diff'. You can transform the one-way (by putting some pins) to a solid axle, Hot-Bodies calls it the '2way Diff'. The will also have the newly designed wishbones. Is this the successor of the Cyclone 'Moore Speed Edition'? Here's the thing, this new Cyclone TC has much updated and new parts like the main chassis, top deck, shock towers, the fornt and rear differentials, bulk heads, suspension arms, sway bar holder and much more. However the current Cyclone 'Moore Speed Edition' has some better quality parts, but is way more expensive. This Cyclone TC will be the new standard model, which will be highly competitive. Hot-Bodies will also release an upgrade kit for all current Cyclone racers.
