Much-More Grand Prix UK 2008

The UK Much-More Grand Prix was held in Stonehaven, Aberdeen in Scotland. Drivers from from Scotland, England, Ireland, Netherlands, Korea, Australia and Austria joined this annual event.
Xray driver Elliot Harper took the TQ spot in the
5 cell modified class during the rain on Saturday. Olly Jefferies finished second and Ben Cosgrove in thrid. In the 6 cell modified class qualifying Graham Kenny took pole position driving an Xray, in front Tom Jefferies and Mark Young.
The stock finals where also held on Saturday, where Olly Jefferies had claimed the TQ in front of Ben Cosgrove and Elliot Harper. Olly managed to take the first A-Main final win from Ben Cosgrove, while Associated driver Alan Bickerstaff finished 3rd. In the second Main it was Elliot Harper who took the win from Olly Jefferies, while Russel Williams finished third. With these results Olly Jefferies won the Stock class in front of Ben Cosgrove and Alan Bickerstaff. Here are the full standings from the Stock class:

Sunday saw the Modified classes run for 5-cell and 6-cell. In the 5-cell class it was a close battle between Elliot Harper and Olly Jefferies. Olly managed to take the win in the first main in front of Elliot who took the second main. The results between the two drivers where equal and the fastest run decided the win. Elliot Harper had the fastest run making him the winner of the 5-cell modified class in front of Olly Jefferies and the Dutch TOP driver Niels Koenekoop.
