Snowbird Nationals 2009

Selling out each of the past six years with 700+ entries, and peaking at 828 entries, the bird's is all about racing! With carpet oval and carpet on-road action, there are classes for everyone. This year's Snowbird Nationals were held at the same time as the EFRA European Indoor Championship. That was the reason why almost none of the top European drivers attended the race. The race was held at the Radisson Resort in Orlando. The schedule was similar to past years, with practice Tuesday and Wednesday, with racing Thursday through Sunday. Saturday there was once again be ‘Bump N’ Run’ day. Paul Lemieux was really fast over the whole event. He took the TQ spot in the Touring Pro Modified and the 10.5T Rubber class. At the Sunday finals he was able to secure both wins. The Canadian Keven Herbert took the second spot in the Touring Pro Mod and took the win in the 13.5T Foam class.
