Yokomo MR4-TC BD-5

Yokomo will release their new touring car in April. The new car is named "BD-5" because it's the fifth "new generation" belt driven touring car made by Yokomo. The BD-5 will have a total new platform providing great handling for both Lipo and Nimh racing. It will have a narrow carbon chassis similar to all the current touring car chassis's. Some further new features we could spot are:

• New aluminium rear diff with bigger diffplates
• 3.5mm thick shock towers
• New steering system attached by one screw on the topdeck
• One piece full length upper deck
• New rear hubs
• New c-hubs
• Front facing servo
• low CG motor mount

The Japanese kits will be sold with a one-way unit and the kits for Europe with a spool. Price of the kits is still holding around $450 range and can be preordered (in America) via YokomoAmerica@yahoo.com (temporary email address). We are still waiting for the pressrelease of Yokomo's new touring car.
